We produce three information packs for parents, and one for young people with learning disabilities and their families; click on the link for a full list of their contents, and downloads of the leaflets.
Parent Information Pack - this contains basic information for the parents of a child with any sort of disability or special needs, including information on various professional roles.
Autism/Asperger Information Pack - for parents of a child diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
AD/HD Information Pack - for parents of a child diagnosed with AD/HD, Attention Defecit Hyperactivity Disorder
'It's MY Choice!' - a booklet for young people with learning disabilities coming up to the transition to adulthood. Contains easy-read sections on subjects such as housing, jobs and so on, and a directory of contacts in Highland.
We have also been involved with Highland Council in producing an information pack for teachers on AD/HD, which has been circulated to all schools in Highland.
