CHIP produces a number of information packs for parents/carers and an online resource for young people in the Highlands who are approaching Transition from school to adult life. These resources are produced in partnership with the Highland Council, NHS Highland and other voluntary organisations.
Sharon Morris, Occupational Therapist based at the Pines, Inverness is planning to do a piece of research to explore autistic people’s views of the content of Understanding Autism. This would be for anyone aged 16 or over. Full details on the letter below.
The Highland Council Allied Health Professionals (AHP's) practice is changing in line with current guidance and national directives on health and wellbeing outcomes for children and young people (CYP). This will make it easier for parents/carers to access advice & support from the service.
